Unlike dental insurance, with low cost dental care plans there are no annual deductibles (effectively the insurance excess) but the benefit is different in that with a dental plan you’ll receive low cost dental care (with participating dental providers) and with the higher cost dental insurance you will not have to contribute towards any basic care beyond the annual excess and up to the annual limit.
